Ukraine
Mercy Hands America was one of the first responders to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. In March 2022, we conducted rapid needs assessment of IDPs inside Ukraine. Through an alliance with Mercy Hands Europe and Grace Initiative Global, we managed to raise funds and then distribute food and non-food items to IDPs in Ukraine.
Iraq
Through our local partner, Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid (AKA Mercy Hands), we have a long reach in Iraq. In partnership with Mercy Hands, we have implemented numerous humanitarian and development aid programs in different parts of Iraq targeting IDPs, Returnees, Refugees, and other vulnerable groups.
Syria and Turkiya
Mercy Hands America was one of the first responders to the humanitarian crisis that hit Syria and Turkiya in February 2023. In collaboration with international parties and through local partners, we delivered emergency humanitarian aid to families affected by the earthquake.
USA
Mercy Hands America’s headquarter is in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to our engagement with the local communities, we collaborate with other US based entities to provide international humanitarian and development aid.
Georgia
In partnership with international and local partners we are on the ground in Tbilisi, Georgia, delivering psychosocial support to children and families, especially Ukrainian refugees.
